High Profile Show, Bury Farm 21st-23rd Aug 2018

Fab few days for a number of my pupils and friends over in Bury Farm at the High Profile Show.

Daphne Lush made her first adventures across the water with her own gorgeous Sammy (Millpoint Carnival). Competing in the Bronze section of the Novice, she clocked up a remarkable 4 wins from 4 in the bronze section and finished overall 2nd on 68% on Wednesday in the Novice Qualifier Competition.

Molly Mooney also making her first adventures across the water at just 14, with Marlton Scout, my talented little 5 year old. Competing in the Silver section of the Novice and still a very new combination, they notched up some very impressive results and scores, most notably achieving 69% in the Novice Freestyle Qualifier on Friday.

Deirdre Byrne and San Royale returned to England after a very successful trip over earlier this Summer. Fresh from some remarkable results at Keysoe Area Festival where the pair qualified for the Novice Area Festival Semi Finals, they produced a real class within the white boards. Notching up several top placings and wins and winning the Bury Farm Novice Silver Championship and coming 3rd in Elementary Silver Championship.

Lorraine Cassidy and her home bred Fidelial (Molly) returning to competition following an injury and showed some real promising moments within the work. A real pair for the future and the exposure and experience the pair have gained will stand to them in the coming months for sure.

Barbara Delahoyde and her Hannoverian warmblood mare Rubina, now 14 and still not back to full fitness following a lengthy spell off through injury earlier in the year. However showing no signs of backing down, the experienced pair pushed themselves to contest the Silver section of the Advanced Medium this trip. With consistent scores in the mid 60’s the pair picked up several placings in both Advanced Medium and Advanced Medium Music. The combination went on to win the Bury Farm Advanced Medium Silver Championship.

Karen Bennett and Urco also making a returning trip to the UK contested the Bronze section of the Medium classes and picked up a number of top placings within the Bronze section. The combination went on to finish 2nd in the Bury Farm Medium Bronze Championship.
