Enya is a 9yr old Trakehner mare from Germany. Backed as an 8yr old Enya has been started and produced slowly to ensure her confidence and upbringing is correct and no corners are skipped. This is a very supple and lovely moving little mare with a huge heart and incredible attitude to her work both willingness to do and quick to learn.
In November of 2019, Enya made her competition debut at Marlton where she scored a cracking 70% in the Novice class. Not in the sli
ghtest bit phased by the atmosphere of the show, Enya remained calm and listening to her rider the whole time, resulting in a very relaxed and supple performance.
The following week, Enya travelled to Spruce Lodge for another competition. Her first time on the lorry, aside from coming from Germany and only the 3rd ever facility that she has been ridden in, Enya strutted her stuff in very testing weather conditions to produce another lovely Novice test, this time picking up 68% for her efforts.
Enya is currently working Elementary and Medium at home, I have high hopes for this little mare in the coming season or 2… more to come, be sure to follow her progress as this is a horse to be accounted for in the future
