Never Lose Sight of your Dreams :)

It’s been a really tough month for me…. I broke my foot early in September, ruling me out of the final big show of the year for us and putting a sharp halt on are great training towards GP. Sadly while at the Nationals helping my students exceed expectations, including having one crowned national champion, I picked up a chill which led to a fever. Lying in bed this last week, (which is so not me!!) got me to thinking just how much this horse and I have achieved, and how much of it I have over looked and taken for granted. Be proud of every small step you take, celebrate it be proud of it… Nothing in progress is too small to smile and be happy about. Because its all those little bits that lead to the big picture, it’s a tough sport, it’s a critical sport and we need to be proud of our progress and remember that we are all unique and learn in different ways at different rates…. Be proud, I know I am 🐴
