I think it’s fair to say that words are failing me right now…. I couldn’t be any more proud of my two horses, after two days of competing and two strange venues, 5 red rosettes and 2 blue I am so blessed with my babies.
First out yesterday was Baby Scout, attempting a freestyle for the very first time and with Ludwig’s music as I cleverly forgot hers, and therefore no floor plan, she was so well behaved and won the Elementary silver section on 67+% and then went on to finish 2nd in the Novice silver qualifer class with 66.7% Not to be out done by the new kid on the block, Ludwig flew around a new PSG floor plan to finish on 71+% and win the class. Feeling no pressure at all 🙈🐴 we were first into the ring for the PSG, an 11 strong field! He felt amazing and answered my every request and stayed top of the list, to win the PSG with a new pb of 70+%
A stressful journey and too tired to have any expectations of results today, my precious little baby stormed to victory in her first elementary with 66.2% and was narrowly pipped to 2nd in her second elementary with 64.8% Once again failing to be out done by the baby on the block, Ludwig stormed around his freestyle to win the class yet again with 72.3%
Super proud of these two, delighted to have a couple of rest days before our next show, and let it all sink in!!!!!
Huge thanks as always my parents and team at home for making this trip possible. To John Roche and Heinrich Zieg, to Alan Ward of Master Saddlers and to Dressage By Design. Easy to perform well when all is feeling and looking well.
