Spruce Lodge Classic 4th & 5th August 2018

What an incredible weekend for JDD at the South East Region Classic in Spruce Lodge.
A little over a year ago, I saw an ad on Facebook for a little black cob, started to be broken but turned away for the winter. Unsure of what to expect I bought her to have a bit of fun with. Little did I know then just what I was buying! One of the easiest breaks I will probably ever have, this incredible mare has such a positive attitude and willing trainable temperament and has lapped up the work and gone from strength to strength. Only just back from the Hickstead CDI where she very kindly accompanied Ludwig as he made his international debut and in immense heat, Scout came back like she never left and was so willing and ready for a weekend of competing herself. Just love this mare, can’t wait to see where the furture will take her…
Molly Mooney won the Cat 1 Prelim and Novice and respective junior sections with Scout. And won the freestyle with the highest percentage of all Freestyles with a cracking 77%
A super talented pair with such a huge future ahead of them, hard to believe that Molly is just 14 and Scout only 5 and there not even a partnership of 6 weeks yet…. Can’t wait to see what they can achieve!
Also super proud of Molly picking up 8s for her riding and receiving rave reviews from both UK list 1 judges, Mark Ruddock and Jennie Loriston Clarke.
The determination and hard work that Molly puts in to all that she does on a daily basis is immense. And it just goes to show that if at first you don’t succeed, then try and try again!!! You only stop being a winner when you stop trying!!
